Further expansion of emergency medicine in Ukraine<\/h1>\n

As a result of the ongoing war, many medical structures in Ukraine are under severe strain or have even been destroyed. Especially in the areas formerly occupied by Russia, there is a lack of functioning infrastructure, specialist medical personnel and appropriately equipped rescue equipment. Emergency physicians are faced with the challenge of treating injured people without suitable vehicles or sufficient supplies. In many regions, there are hardly any first responders who are trained in immediate life-saving measures – even though every minute counts, especially in cases of severe trauma. <\/p>\n

Strengthening the emergency care system in Ukraine is therefore very important to us.\n<\/p>\n

Goal<\/h2>\n

The improvement of preclinical emergency care through the targeted strengthening of rescue service structures and the support of transport capacities through the nationwide training of first responders.<\/p>\n

The project trains medical staff and provides fully equipped ambulances to transfer critically injured patients quickly and safely to hospitals for further treatment. At the same time, local structures are being strengthened so that trained first responders can provide fast and effective help in the regions. <\/p>\n

The close cooperation between our project partners and the AGNF forms the foundation for a long-term commitment in the field of emergency medicine. Together, we are pursuing the goal of saving lives – through better structures, equipment and training.\n<\/p>\n
