Last week, the AGNF, together with ITLS Germany e.V., was once again able to support the Ugandan ambulance association – our long-standing project partner Association of Ambulance Professionals Uganda (AAPU) – in building up training capacities to improve emergency care in Uganda.
A total of 63 participants were trained as part of 2 ITLS Duty to Response courses and 2 ITLS Access courses. The basics of road accident rescue were trained in practice, as was the basic care of seriously injured people with the aim of being able to involve police, firefighters, gamekeepers and tour guides in emergency care on site.
We are grateful that we were once again able to be guests in this fantastic country and wish them every success in organizing their own courses in the future!
