At the Klinikum Fürth Academy, approximately 40 experts gathered at the invitation of the Institute for Emergency Medical Education. The foundations for a position paper were formulated in several working groups.
“Emergency Care 2030—What Shared Vision Do Emergency Medical Services, Emergency Rooms, and the Relevant Professional Groups Share?” was the title of the 4th Fürth Talks. Joachim Herrmann, Bavarian Minister of the Interior, once again served as the event’s patron.
Participants from emergency medical services, medicine, nursing, dispatch centers, education, academia, professional associations, and politics shared their perspectives, enabling the development—through intensive workshops—of strategies for prehospital and hospital care, as well as a shared vision among all professional groups involved in emergency care.
Dr. Janosch Dahmen, Member of the German Bundestag, and Prof. Dr. reg. pol. Andreas Beivers enriched the event with valuable keynote presentations.
The resulting position paper is currently being drafted and will be published shortly. The results of the previous Fürth Talks can be found on the INOB website.
