To further advance our current collaborations and explore opportunities for new ones, we visited some of our Ukrainian partners in Lviv in mid-July.
Following the successful launch of the ESI-Triage project, discussions took place regarding its expansion to the entire country of Ukraine. The idea of holding ESI-Triage information days or a related conference was met with enthusiasm. It appears that interest is so high that several hundred participants are expected to attend.
We discussed ways to optimize our existing patient transfer project, as well as new approaches to continuing education for emergency medical technicians and nursing staff, rehabilitation and prosthetics, and simulation and training centers. In addition, exciting prospects for collaboration between European and Ukrainian medical professionals emerged, from which both sides would benefit in the long term.
We are also considering expanding our existing partnership with Unbroken to include new course formats and to provide the civilian population with better training in tactical medicine.
Our packed schedule during our stay underscores just how closely we are collaborating with our Ukrainian partners and the high regard in which the AGNF is now held, even by potential new partners.
We are therefore all the more excited to look forward to the next visit by a Ukrainian delegation to Fürth, as well as to our joint attendance at the ERC Congress—Resuscitation 2026 in Milan.
