Our most recent project trip took us to Lviv, Kyiv, and Ternopil, among other places. A few days later, we were able to train pediatricians and nurses specializing in pediatrics to serve as instructors for a center of excellence in Lviv.
For example, we met with representatives of People’s Self-Defense Lviv, the Special Training Center in Kyiv, the Ukrainian Ministry of Health, and the Ukrainian Minister of Finance. Together, we were able to optimize existing processes and develop new ideas.
A few days later, training began in Fürth for a team from St. Nicholas Hospital and the Unbroken Foundation in Lviv. A total of ten (pediatric) doctors and nurses specializing in pediatrics joined us. In the future, they will pass on their knowledge to their colleagues, thereby further improving patient care on site. To ensure this is done in accordance with international standards, they successfully completed both an ILS and an EPILS course from the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) as part of their training—congratulations!
